This week on #CookBlogShare I have 3 Gluten-Free Bakes to share with you. A Gluten-free wholemeal loaf, a pizza crust, plus blackberry and white chocolate scones
After June being somewhat hectic with several trips away, July has been much quieter for me and I'm not complaining, but blink and its August already!
Over the past month since the last #CookBlogShare I have been catching up after the breaks and plodding away at updating some of my older posts.
Gooseberries have been in season and I love these somewhat underrated berries. So here on Recipes Made Easy after writing a new recipe for Gooseberry Fool I also updated my Gooseberry Tart and Gooseberry Eve's Pudding post.
During the really hot week, I think everyone got fixated with iced desserts so I also updated my White Chocolate Parfait an iced dessert that requires no churning and is really easy to make.
My campaign to bring back gooseberries also spilled over onto my other blog Only Crumbs Remain where I added a round-up of Great Gooseberry Recipes from myself and other bloggers. I added two new recipes using seasonal fruits Blackcurrant and Vanilla Cream Tart and a Peach and Redcurrant cake. I also updated a Gingerbread cake, Bengal Curds with macerated Berries and these pretty Pear and Blackberry Cupcakes.
So while my month may have been less eventful than the previous, I have by no means been idle.
#CookBlogShare Three Gluten-Free Bakes
Last week as the weather cooled down it would appear that we began to get our baking mojo back and only three of the recipes linked up did not involve baking.
So with two gluten-free bakes and one with a gluten-free variation I decided that is what I would choose for my round-up.
Wholemeal Brown Bread
Just look at that crumb on this fabulous Gluten-free Wholemeal Loaf from Kate at Gluten Free Alchemist.
This bread doesn't crumble, is not dry, remains soft and lastingly fresh for days, toasts well, makes great sandwiches and tastes incredible... with (or without) any topping or filling. I do not make any of these claims lightly. This is not gluten free wholemeal bread that has been slung together hopefully.... It has been my work for many months... testing, honing, tweaking, re-testing over and over again until I can say hand on heart, I can tweak no more.
It looks to me that all that work has really paid off. I can tell just by looking that that is one fine loaf of bread.
Gluten Free Pizza Crust
Kate is not the only one who has been working on the perfect gluten-free bake. Vicki aka The Free From Fairy has been working on the perfect Gluten-free pizza crust.
Gluten free pizza is the holy grail. It’s something that is never quite as good as the real thing. Until now. My gluten free pizza crust recipe is easy to make and utterly delicious. In fact your family and friends won’t even know they’re eating a gluten free pizza.
Blackberry White Chocolate Scones
These Blackberry White chocolate Scones are suitable for vegans and although the basic recipe is not gluten-free, Midge from The Peachicks Bakery has tips for a gluten free variation. Midge writes:
scones have to be my favourite thing to bake.
No matter what you call them, how you load them or what time of year you make them.
There is nothing simpler to bake or more satisfying to see come out the oven than a tray of steaming hot, scones.
I think she could be right
and Finally, worth a special mention, Janice from Farmers Girl Kitchen pulled together 30 recipes using blackberries where you will find some more gluten free bakes and other recipes that are gluten free. There are some fabulous recipes so its well worth a look

I need to check out Janice's ideas for blackberry recipes! And those blackberry scones look amazing! Just linked my latest very summery recipe.
Choclette
That GF bread of Kate's looks superb. Although it's those blackberry scones that have got my mouth watering. I'm really enjoying baking with all this summer bounty at the moment and I see I'm not alone 😀
