Soups, stews and casseroles are the perfect meals for colder days. I've chosen 5 great recipes from last weeks linky that will really hit the spot as we head into winter. Plus you will find the #CookBlogShare linky for week 43.

Welcome to #CookBlogShare the weekly linky for all things foodie, hosted here on Recipes Made Easy the last Tuesday of the month, at Lost in Food on the 2nd Tuesday of the month and with our guests hosts on the remaining Tuesdays.
Its the place where food bloggers can share their latest posts and for you the reader to find new food blogs and recipes to enjoy.
October in a Nutshell
Regulars will know I like to start my #CookBlogShare hostings sharing a little of what I have been up to both in real life and on my blogs over the past month.
To be honest I don't really have much to report this month. Most of my time has been in London and I have found myself indoors a lot more than the previous few months.
Last month saw the last of the bounty from the allotment so I have spent less time in the kitchen and more time at my desk. Although yesterday I was gifted 4kg of homegrown pumpkin so I shall be back into the kitchen soon. What shall I make?
More time at my desk has allowed me to catch up on some of the behind the scene things that I mentioned last month were falling behind.
I completed the move of my email lists to a new provider and I am now working on a new email sequence for new subscribers something that was not available on the free plan I was using at my old provider. Its nearing completion and hope it will be in place in the very near future.
As the weather has got colder I have been making more family roasts and have shared my recipe for Roast Topside of Beef on Recipes Made Easy and followed up with a post on my recipe for Yorkshire puddings too.

Meanwhile, over on Only Crumbs Remain, it has been a case of sharing new recipes such as my fancy dinner rolls and updating some old recipes including Lemon drizzle olive oil cake and Arlette's.

With Bake Off on the TV the British baking season is in full swing and there were plenty of bakes linked up last week. If you haven't checked them out already you can find them on Curly's Cooking there were some great baking recipes linked up!
Do you love baking? Have you joined the Baking Crumbs Facebook group that I run with Jenny from Apply to Face Blog? Its open to bloggers and non-bloggers alike and is the place to talk all thing baking!
Meanwhile with Haloween just around the corner it would be remiss of me not to share these fun Halloween bakes linked up last week.

Soups, casseroles and stews
