What personal data we collect
Information You Voluntarily Submit to the website

Mailing Lists
On the website, you may subscribe to my newsletter, which may be used for advertising purposes. We collect personal information, which includes your name (which is optional but we like to get to know you) and email address. Your email address will never be sold to other organisations or businesses.
We use a third-party provider, Substack to deliver our newsletter. We gather statistics around email opening and clicks using industry standard technologies to help us monitor which also allows us to adapt the content of future newsletters to the interests of the user.
You can unsubscribe to general mailings at any time of the day or night by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any of our emails or by emailing Recipes Made Easy through the Contact Form
Comments
When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
When you leave a comment on this site your name, web address (if supplied) and comment will be visible to the public. Your email address and IP address will be collected but never shared publicly. Data submitted when making a comment may be stored indefinitely.
Notification of replies to comments: Supplying your email address when commenting will not automatically subscribe you to notifications of any replies to your comment. If you wish to be notified of any replies to your comment then you need to opt in by selecting “Replies to my comments” in the drop down below the comment form. Media
If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.
Contact forms
Messages sent via my contact page will be forwarded directly to my email. Name, email address and message details may be stored indefinitely. Details supplied via the contact form will only be used for the purpose of responding to the message.
