What personal data we collect
Information You Voluntarily Submit to the website
We may collect personal information from you such as your name or email address. For example, you may voluntarily submit information to the website by leaving a comment, subscribing to a newsletter, or submitting a contact form.
We automatically collect certain information about you and the device with which you access the website. For example, when you use the website, we will log your IP address, operating system type, browser type, referring website, pages you viewed, and the dates/times when you accessed the website. We may also collect information about actions you take when using the website, such as links clicked.
How Data is Collected
On the website, you may subscribe to our newsletter, which may be used for advertising purposes. We collect personal information, which includes your name (which is optional but we like to get to know you) and email address. Your email address will never be sold to other organisations or businesses.
We use a third-party provider, MailChimp, to deliver our newsletter. We gather statistics around email opening and clicks using industry standard technologies to help us monitor which also allows us to adapt the content of future newsletters to the interests of the user. For more information, please see MailChimp’s privacy notice. You can unsubscribe to general mailings at any time of the day or night by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any of our emails or by emailing Recipes Made Easy through the Contact Form
When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
When you leave a comment on this site your name, web address (if supplied) and comment will be visible to the public. Your email address and IP address will be collected but never shared publicly. Data submitted when making a comment may be stored indefinitely.
Notification of replies to comments: Supplying your email address when commenting will not automatically subscribe you to notifications of any replies to your comment. If you wish to be notified of any replies to your comment then you need to opt in by selecting “Replies to my comments” in the drop down below the comment form. You can also subscribe to comment replies without leaving a comment.
If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.
Messages sent via my contact page will be forwarded directly to my email. Name, email address and message details may be stored indefinitely. Details supplied via the contact form will only be used for the purpose of responding to the message.

Paid product reviews
I may be compensated to provide an opinion on a product, service, website or other topics. Even though I receive compensation for these posts, I will always give my honest opinions, findings, beliefs or experiences on those topics or products. As always, all opinions expressed will be my own and I will only ever review products I would try myself and that I think are a good fit with Recipes Made Easy. I may also write reviews for which I have not received compensation just because I want to. So where I do receive compensation it will be made clear on the post.
