This week I’m sharing Indian and curry recipes to add some spice to your mid week meals. Plus you will find the #CookBlogShare 2020 week 30 linky.

Welcome to #CookBlogShare the weekly linky for all things foodie hosted here on Recipes Made Easy the last Tuesday of the month, at Lost in Food on the 2nd Tuesday of the month and with our guests hosts on the remaining Tuesdays.
Its the place where food bloggers can share their latest posts and for you the reader to find new food blogs and recipes to enjoy.
July in a Nutshell
But first, as another month comes to an end, my regular update of what has been happening here in July.
It has been another month of making the most of the British summer and being outside as much as possible. Last month I tended to my London allotment and this month it has been in my gardens in Suffolk now that travelling is allowed.
Yes you read that correctly, gardens (plural) we have three little cottages in a terrace in a village near the Suffolk coast. Two we rent out as holiday lets and the other is what can only be described as a building project.

Whilst we have a housekeeper that deals with the cleaning between guests we do all the maintenance and gardening ourselves. But with lockdown we were unable to get to the cottages at all for 3 months and the gardens were left to run wild. We have planted them as traditional cottage style gardens, which look lovely, but are very high maintenance in early summer
So since the easing of travelling I have been very busy getting the gardens of the cottages back into shape including that of the building project so it is not an eyesore to the guests staying in the other two.
Below are a few before and after photos and these don't include some of the worse affected areas that I still have to tackle including some giant thistles but the bees love them so for now they are staying.

As well as the gardens I have been doing some of the maintenance work like painting the windows which we would usually do out of the high season. Its been physically hard work but also good for the soul spending so much time outside after being cooped up for so long.
Sadly I still haven't got to the coast itself so that's high on my list to do in August. Suffolk has a very varied and beautiful coastline.
The blogs have taken a bit of a back seat during July but I have kept them ticking over posting a couple of recipes on both, including my Lamb Flatbreads (link below) and broad bean hummus here on Recipes Made Easy and an extremely yummy blackcurrant curd on Only Crumbs Remain.
I have also moved my Only Crumbs Remain Email list from Mail Chimp to Mailer Lite. Oh yes and perhaps the biggest bit of news is that I have bought the domain recipesmadeeasy.com. I now have the peace of mind knowing that someone can not use the domain to set up a rival website. Since I started Recipies Made Easy it has been unavailable and had been parked (registered but unused).
Indian and Curry Dishes
So once again there were plenty of lovely recipes linked up on #CookBlogShare last week hosted by Cat at Curlys Cooking.
Physcial travel may still be limited but I think some of the bloggers linking up are dreaming of travel to hotter climes with several Meat free Indian and curry dishes linked so thats my theme for this weeks round up.
Saag Paneer

From the Gluten Free Alchemist we have Saag Paneer a north Indian spinach curry with green chilli, yoghurt and Paneer cheese, taken from Rick Stiens India Cookbook, she describes it as authentic as it is delicious.
Dudhi Muthia

Dudhi na Muthia, Doodhi Muthia or Lauki Muthia is a traditional healthy Gujarati snack. From Gujarati blogger Fit Foodie Megha. You may have to hunt down some of the ingredients but if you want an authentic Indian snack this is one to try. You may also like to try her Ghugra Sandwich Recipe or Beetroot Cutlets.
Creamy Halloumi Curry

This curry from the Effortless Foodie is a fusion style twist on a classic Indian curry . Halloumi is fried and mixed into a creamy and fragrant curry sauce, for a delicious Halloumi curry everyone will love!
Kale and Red Onion Dhal

This is the Easy Peasy Foodie's slightly simplified version of the original recipe for Kale and Red Onion Dhal from The Sirtfood Diet Book. It’s gluten free, dairy free, vegetarian and vegan, so is a great crowd-pleaser. Ebs serves it with Buck wheat which if you are not famililar with you, you can read her helpful post on what is Buckwheat and how to cook it.

Hello and sorry I'm late to the party - I am finally catching up! I do love a good curry and lately I've been heading towards veggie based ones so they aren't so heavy. The halloumi one looks interesting too so may add that to the list. Great roundup! Cheers, Michelle x
