With four Fab Bakes to choose from in this weeks #CookBlogShare Round-up you are sure to find one that you must make. Will you choose the fabulous cookies, the creamy cheese cake, the apple cake or maybe the traybake is more your style?
Well, it has been a hot and busy few weeks since the last #CookBlogShare. Quite a lot has been happening. I am pleased to say that the cloned site, I told you about last time I hosted is now offline after a long and exhausting process. It was very complicated and involved talking to many people and companies who spoke this techie language some more helpful than others. Luckily I had help from my techie friend but now need to give her for a lifetime supply of Mr B Award Winning Rhubarb Chutney, by way of a thank you ( I think she is addicted to it). If you ever have similar problems do reach out and we will do our best to help you if we can.
As many of you will know already, Kirsty at Hijacked by Twins (who has been organising this little linky since 2015 when she took it over from Lucy at Supergolden Bakes who started it just over a year earlier) has now taken a step back from blogging at least for the time being as life takes her in a new direction. As a result Kirsty is no longer hosting #CookBlogShare and we will miss her. The Good news is that Kirsty has entrusted myself, Eb and Monika to carry the linky on, so it is by no means the last of #CookBlogShare. I have taken over the admin side and Eb and Monika and I will continue to host it on a regular 4 weekly basis. Because we feel Kirsty shoes are too big to fill with one person we will have guest hosts to fill the slots she would have done.
Where to find #CookBlogShare in the future
With holidays to be accommodated, we have already had two slots guest hosted to fill the gaps. The first by Jenny at Apply to Face Blog and then by Michelle and Lesley from Lost in Food. They both did the most amazing job, so we feel sure that this will be a good format to follow going forward. Next week you will find #CookBlogShare at The Peachicks Bakery and the following week at Glutarama and then it's back to Eb at Easy Peasy Foodie.
Four Fabulous Bakes
Lemon and Blueberry Cookies
French Apple Cake
This French Apple Cake from The Not So Creative Cook would make a fabulous dessert, thinking about it I can almost taste it with a dollop of thick cream or Crème Fraîche- Delicious!! Alternatively, you could just eat a slice with a cuppa I wouldn't object to that either.
New York Cheesecake
Who wouldn't want a slice of Curlys Cooking creamy dreamy New York Cheese Cake. Possibly my favourite type of cheesecake, simple but oh so tasty.
Carrot Cake Traybake
Actually, you will find more than just a recipe for Carrot Cake Traybake on this post from Apply To Face Blog. She also has links to some of her other delicious traybakes from her blog and who doesn't like a traybake. They are the perfect time saver and a great way to make a lot of cake for sharing in the shortest possible time.
Kat (The Baking Explorer)
Thanks for featuring my cookies!

What a great round up of recipes and thankyou so much for including my traybakes! I love them all. Cats Cheesecake caught my eye earlier in the week and Apple cake would be on my Last Meal menu! So great company!

Janny you are welcome and I want to make them all.
Choclette
Ooh, I could snaffle one of the lemon & blueberry cookies right now. I'm trying to be good at the moment though and eat nothing sweet in the evenings 🙁
So glad you finally got that website taken down. Very well done to you and your friend.
Jacqueline A Bellefontaine
I could eat more than one of those cookies but like you trying to be good just now so they will have to wait
Kate - Gluten Free Alchemist
I'll take one of each please!
Jacqueline A Bellefontaine
I like your style. Maybe two cookies they are only small 😉
Michelle Rolfe
Great round up Jacqui. And so pleased to hear your techie troubles are behind you now. Such a stressful time. Love the look of the lemon & blueberry cookies, on my list now as I hadvecsome fresh local berries in the freezer. And the New York cheesecake also in my list as my daughter been hassling me to make one for the last few months!
Jacqueline A Bellefontaine
hey I just realised got a box of blueberries in my veggie (+fruit) box today:)
Cat | Curly's Cooking

Jacqueline A Bellefontaine
Thanks Patrick, not so much taking over #CookBlogShare as taking over the admin. Still have my two fab Co host and of course our guest hosts.
